For Your Information

Wings of the World is, and will, continue to be committed to providing high quality birds, products and services.

There has been a report of a bird who had been boarding at the store early in July. It passed away weeks later, and was diagnosed with psittacosis. The mate, who was housed in the same cage, we understand, tested negative.

We have been working with the Snohomish Public Health Department, the Washington State Veterinarian, and our veterinary consultant, Dr. Kamaka. We are complying with all policies and procedures. Our cleaning standards have always been above the required guidelines and now we have taken it to the next level. We want to confirm to our dedicated friends and customers that we are taking all the necessary precautions for the health and safety for you and your feathered companions.
